Infinity Adventure Park
What a fun day at our latest T1DCAT meet-up at the Infinity Adventure Park in Banbridge! Lots of new friendships made for both the kids and their parents. Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting our group.
Bright Lights Botanic
Another brilliant outing for our local families living with diabetes at the Christmas Lights display in Botanic Gardens. Thank you to all of our committee members who staffed the event and ensured a great evening for almost 300 kids and parents.

VR Gaming Event
Our post-primary school children recently got to experience VR with a day out at the Altesc Virtual Reality Arcade in Lisburn. It was throughly enjoyed by everyone who attended.
Mindfulness Day
The parents of our type 1 children recently had the opportunity to attend a one-day workshop teaching new techniques to deal with life’s pressures, share ideas, enjoy some relaxation and engage in mindfulness. This was a wonderful day and everyone left feeling calmer, more relaxed and revitalised, as a result.
Christmas Snow Tubing
Our Christmas event this year was a fun-filled day of snow tubing for our children and their siblings, including appearances and treats from some very special guests.
MyLife Programme
This year, our type 1 nine to thirteen year olds attended the MyLife programme, which ran for over six months and incorporated educational workshops and fun activities, culminating in a highly enjoyable residential trip.
We Are Vertigo 2019
T1DCAT recently enjoyed a trip to Belfast to visit We Are Vertigo, and a great day was had by all. Thanks to everyone for making this such a success.
Easter Event 2019
Seagoe Parish Centre was the venue for our annual Easter event and the children were treated to a whole host of activities and entertainment, from archery to face painting as well as a photo booth and children’s entertainer. Spiderman and Elsa from Frozen also dropped in for a visit, much to the delight of everyone.
